The Light That Dreams Within You
The afternoon sun is bright, but it feels flat against the window. You are smiling at the plans, nodding at the timeline, performing the excitement everyone expects from you.
But inside, there is only a hollow ache where the belief used to be. You are walking through the middle of a day that feels like a costume you can't take off.
The light does not ask you to pretend the future looks good again. It does not demand you manufacture hope for a tomorrow you cannot see.
It simply sits with you in the quiet exhaustion of the present. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world—even when that person is too tired to shine.
You do not have to believe in the future right now. You only have to remain here, in this honest, unadorned moment.
The dream may have faded, but the Light that dreamed it has not left your chest.
