The Light Keeps What You Delete
The afternoon sun is bright, but inside your notes app, it is midnight. You type the words you cannot say aloud, pouring out the grief line by line, knowing you will never hit send.
And then you delete them. One by one.
Backspace erasing the truth until the screen is blank again, and you are left holding the silence. But notice this: the tears fell before you deleted the words.
The love was real before the text vanished. The light does not require the message to be sent to know what is in your heart.
It saw you write it. It saw you weep.
It saw you delete it. And it remains, unmoved by the emptiness of the screen.
You think you have lost the words, but the light has kept them. What you tried to hide in the digital dark is already fully known, and fully held.
