The Light That Did Not Turn Away
The afternoon light is unforgiving; it exposes the dust motes dancing in the silence you created. You are replaying that split second—their face falling, your eyes turning away, the moment pride won and their heart broke.
The middle of the day is where we carry the weight of what we did when the sun was high. You cannot fix that moment by staring at it until your vision blurs.
But listen—there is a light inside you that saw the whole thing, and it did not turn away from you. It held both your failure and their pain in the same breath.
The Good came into your midst to restore your nature to its root, not to shame you for the stumble. That light is still there, under the regret, under the memory of their eyes.
It is waiting for you to stop hiding and simply stand up.
