Light Shining Behind Boarded Windows
The afternoon is long when your body is a room where the lights are on but the windows are boarded up. You move through the noise of the day carrying a weight that no one else can see, a fire that no one else feels.
It is easy to believe that because they cannot witness your pain, it must not be real. But the light does not depend on an audience to exist.
There is a promise that the true light is already shining, even now, in the middle of this invisible war. It was there before the first ache, and it remains untouched by the fire.
You are not defined by what hurts, but by the light that holds you through it. The pain is real, but it is not the whole story.
