You Are the Sign Before the Buzz

The afternoon hums with a silence that feels like rejection. You reach for your pocket, certain the world has tried to reach you, only to find the screen dark.

Empty. Again.

It is easy to believe that no one is thinking of you, that you have drifted out of sight and out of mind. But the light does not operate on the frequency of noise.

It does not need to buzz to be present. Jesus saw Nathanael sitting under a fig tree, hidden from every human eye, and said: 'I saw you.' Before you called out, before you signaled, you were seen.

The kingdom is not a notification that arrives from the outside; it is a reality spread out upon the earth that you have not yet recognized. You are not waiting for a sign to prove you exist.

You are the sign. The light is already shining through the quiet.
