The Light Disagrees With Your Verdict
It is three in the morning, and your mind has found a single moment from three years ago to dissect. A neutral conversation.
A harmless tone. But in the silence of this room, you have rewritten the script until you are convinced you were cruel.
You are the prosecutor, the judge, and the jury in a trial that ended long ago. The darkness loves a closed case because it cannot be appealed.
But listen — the light that lives inside you was there then, and it is here now, and it does not agree with your verdict. God is greater than your heart, and He knows everything — including the truth you are too tired to see.
The shame you feel is not evidence of guilt; it is just the noise of a mind that forgot how to rest. The accusation is loud, but it is not the final word.
The light was present in that conversation, and it is present in this silence, and it says you are known fully and loved completely. You do not have to fix the past tonight.
You only have to survive this hour. The dawn is coming whether you solve this or not.
