Waking From the Dream You Built
Someone asks you how you are, and your mouth opens, but the honest answer is stuck somewhere behind your ribs because you have spent years curating everyone else's reality. You have built such a perfect world for the people around you that you have forgotten where your own feet are standing.
The silence in this hour is terrifying because it strips away the performance and leaves you with nothing to say about your own life. But listen — the light does not need your curated story.
It does not need the polished version you show the world. The light entered the prison of the body and said, 'He who hears, let him get up from the deep sleep.' It is calling you out of the dream you built for others.
You do not need an answer right now. You only need to admit that you are asleep.
The terror is not that you are lost. The terror is the first moment of waking up.
And in that waking, the light is already there, waiting for you to stop performing and simply be.
