Anger Is Just Wind, Not Darkness
In the long middle of the day, that hot anger rises, and you are terrified it means the light has left you.
You think the fire in your chest is proof that you are broken beyond repair.
But remember the father who ran to meet his son still covered in the dust of the pig pen, before the apology, before the cleansing.
The light does not vanish when you are angry; it is simply waiting for the storm to pass.
You are not a vessel that was emptied by your rage.
You are the vessel that still holds the water, even while the waves crash.
Do not fear the anger.
It is just the wind.
And the light that lives inside you does not drown in the wind.
You are still here.
The light is still here.
