the fear that your anger means you have lost your faith entirely

The Light Holds Your Rage

The mask feels heavy this morning, especially when you feel the heat of anger rising inside you. You worry that this fire means you have lost your faith, that the light has finally gone out.

But listen — the light was never a promise of perfect calm. Jesus himself felt indignation when he saw people being shut out; he was angry at the gatekeepers who told others they were not welcome.

Your anger does not mean you are empty. It means you care deeply about what is true.

The light is not fragile; it can hold your rage without breaking. You are not disqualified by your heat.

You are still held, even while you burn.
