The Light That Never Slept
You wake with your heart hammering, convinced you spoke a poison in the dark that cannot be taken back. The shame feels wet on your skin, heavy as a stone in your throat, even though the room is silent and no one else heard a word.
But the dream was a shadow play, a story your mind told itself while you slept, and the accusation you are carrying belongs to a court that does not exist. There is a truth inside you that never sleeps, a light that was awake while you dreamed and knows you are innocent of the words you never actually said.
You do not have to scrub the dream from your memory or earn your way back into grace this morning. The light that lives in you is already clear, already clean, and it sees right through the mask of shame you are trying to wear before the day even begins.
