You Were Made to Be Held
The house is quiet now, and the weight you have been carrying alone feels heavier than it did at sunrise. You are terrified that if you finally let someone see the load, they will drop you the moment they feel its true mass.
But there is a voice in the dark that knows exactly how much you are holding. He does not flinch at the burden.
He does not calculate the cost. He simply stands with open hands and says: come.
The light does not require you to be light enough to carry yourself. It only asks that you stop pretending you can do it alone.
