The Light Remains When Tears Fall
You wake on their couch and the pillow is still damp from last night's tears. The salt is real.
The weight is real. But so is the light that has never left you, even in the deepest sleep.
Jesus said the kingdom is inside you, and it is outside you — it is not somewhere else you have to travel to find it. You do not have to dry your face before you are worthy of being held.
The light knows the cost of your grief because it has paid it. Go home to your own heart, to the place where the truth lives in you forever.
The dampness will pass. The light remains.
