The Light Sees The Real You
You said the word 'blessed' and watched them walk away, leaving you alone with the lie you just told. The silence in the room is loud, and the mask feels heavy on your face.
But the light does not need your performance to see you. It sees the tears you are holding back behind the smile.
There was a man who was born blind, and people asked whose sin caused it. The light said: neither.
It was so that the works of God might be displayed in him. Your brokenness is not a disqualification.
It is the canvas. You do not have to pretend to be whole for the light to love you.
It loves the real you, the one who is struggling to stand. Go home and tell them how much the light has done for you.
Not how much you have done for it. Just the truth.
