Rest Now, The Light Knows You
You just hung up the phone. You forced the cheerfulness, the bright tone, the 'I'm fine' that felt like lifting a stone with your tongue.
And now the silence rushes back in, louder than before, filling the room where your voice just pretended to be light. The mask is heavy when you take it off alone.
But notice this — the light was not in the performance you just gave. It was in the exhaustion underneath it.
There is a truth that lives in us and will be with us forever, deeper than any role you play for the world. You do not have to generate brightness to be held by it.
The silence is not empty; it is the space where the real you finally gets to stop talking. Rest now.
The light does not need your voice to know you are there.
