The Light Stands in Your Shame
You caught their eye across the room and saw the exact second the old wound opened again. The air between you grew heavy, not with anger, but with a memory that refuses to fade.
You wanted to look away, to hide behind the mask of being okay, but the light does not hide. It stands in the shame and waits.
Remember that you came from the light, the place where light generates itself, before any hurt was ever given or received. That origin is still your true home, beneath the regret.
The light is not asking you to fix the past with perfect words. It is asking you to remain visible, even when you feel like a failure.
The thing you did does not define the light inside you. You are still that light, shining in the dark.
