missing God but not being able to find your way back
You are still here, staring into the dark, feeling that gap between your heart and the presence you remember. You move, you search, you reach, but the way back feels locked, and the silence feels like absence.
But listen closely: the light has never left the place where you are. It does not live in a temple or a memory you cannot reach; it lives in the very breath you are taking right now.
A voice once said, 'I am the light of the world,' not a light far away, but a light that is already in you, waiting for you to stop running and simply be still. You do not need to find your way back, because you are standing in the house that was built for you.
The darkness has not overcome it; it is waiting for you to remember that you are the one who holds the lamp.
