He Ran Before You Could Apologize
The dark feels thick right now, like a wall you cannot climb. You remember the way, but your feet will not move. You are calling out, but the silence seems to swallow the sound.
But listen. The Father is not waiting for you to find the path. He is watching the road. He saw you while you were still a long way off. And he ran.
Before you could finish your apology, before you could clean yourself up, he threw his arms around you. He did not wait for you to arrive. He closed the distance himself.
You do not have to find your way back. You only have to stop running from the one who is already running to you.
