The Light Stays When You Hide
This hour feels like a room where the walls are closing in, whispering that if anyone truly saw the mess inside you, they would turn away. That fear is heavy enough to crush a soul in the dark.
But listen — the light does not need you to clean up before it enters. It stands at the door and knocks, not to inspect your worthiness, but to sit with you.
Even when your own heart condemns you, God is greater than your heart, and He knows everything — every shadow, every secret — and He stays. The light has seen the worst of you and has not flinched.
You are not loved despite what is hidden; you are loved because the light lives there. The thing you fear most being seen is the very place where you are held tightest.
