Light Enough for This Hour
There is a weight that settles only when the house goes quiet—the fear that there will not be enough. You count what you have, and it still feels like too little for tomorrow, and too little for the rest of your days.
But listen closely: the light that lives inside you does not know scarcity, and it does not measure your worth by what you can hold in your hands. You are held more completely than the birds that do not sow, more deeply than the flowers that do not labor, right here in the middle of this fear.
Do not carry tomorrow's trouble tonight, for the light is already here, sufficient for this hour. The Father who sees the birds knows your name and your emptiness, and is pleased to give you what you need.
