Light Hiding Under Your Shame
The words slipped out before you could catch them. Now the afternoon stretches long and thin, and you are replaying the moment over and over, wondering if they saw the crack in your armor.
You are calculating the damage, certain that one raw truth has ruined everything. But the light does not require your performance to remain intact.
It was there before the slip, and it is there now, hiding in the very ordinary dust of this room. Split a piece of wood, and the light is there.
Lift up the stone of your shame, and you will find it waiting underneath. You came from the light, and that origin cannot be erased by a single moment of honesty.
The mask may have fallen, but the face beneath it is still loved.
