The Light Sees You Trembling
The water has turned cold, but you stay. Standing there, shaking, because the steam was the only thing hiding the face you have to wear today.
The mask is waiting on the hook. The performance is scheduled.
And the thought of stepping out into the noise feels like drowning on dry land. But listen — the light does not need your performance to see you.
It sees the trembling. It sees the exhaustion behind the eyes you are about to paint with confidence.
You do not have to be the person the world expects before you leave this room. You only have to be the one who is here.
The light is not asking for a show. It is asking for you — just as you are, wet and weary and real.
Turn off the faucet. Step out.
The mask can wait. The light is already there.
