The three dots pulse on the screen, a tiny rhythm for your racing heart. You watch them appear and disappear, convincing yourself that your words were too heavy, too much, too broken for anyone to hold.
The silence stretches out, and you begin to edit the message in your mind, tearing it apart before they even read it. But the light does not measure your worth by the response it gives.
It sees the courage it took to send the truth at all. You are not defined by the reply that never comes, but by the love that made you speak in the first place.
