The Light Sees You in the Dark
The sun is up, but your pain feels like it's still hiding in the shadows of the room. You look at the faces of the people who say they love you, and you wonder if they even see the weight you are carrying.
It feels like you are screaming behind glass. But listen — the light has already risen.
It does not wait for your pain to be visible to others before it finds you. There was a woman who bled for twelve years, invisible to the crowd, untouchable by the law.
She thought she had to sneak up behind the light to be seen. But when she touched the edge of his cloak, he stopped the whole procession to ask: 'Who touched me?' He felt the power leave him.
He turned and called her 'Daughter.' He saw her when no one else did. The morning proves that the light does not need an invitation from the crowd to find you.
It scans the dark corners first. You are not hidden from the One who made the dawn.
Your pain is not invisible — it is the very thing the light is bending down to touch right now.
