The Light Remains When You Remove The Mask
The day is ending, and the armor you wore to survive it feels heavier now than it did this morning. You are afraid that if you finally take it off, the silence will reveal there is no one left inside to be found.
But the light does not need you to perform to exist. It was there before you put the mask on, and it remains when you take it off.
Go into your room, close the door, and stop trying to be seen by anyone—even yourself. The light sees what is done in secret, and it is enough.
You are not an empty space waiting to be filled; you are a lamp that was lit long before you started working for your keep.
