The Light Does Not Demand Performance
The sun is up, but your mind is still replaying yesterday's script. Every awkward pause, every clumsy word, every imagined laugh — you are serving as the judge, the jury, and the executioner of your own morning.
But look at the light coming through the window. It does not ask for an apology before it enters.
It does not require you to fix the past before it touches your face. The light simply arrives.
It shines on the unmade bed and the tired eyes without demanding a performance. You are convinced the world is laughing, but the light sees only a child who needs to rest.
Go back to sleep for a moment. The day can wait.
The light is not going anywhere.
