Stop Shrinking to Keep the Peace
The sun is up, but your mind is still in the room where you said too much. You are rehearsing the apology you never meant to say, just to make them comfortable again.
You are trading your truth for their peace. But the light does not require you to shrink.
There is a version of you that is whole, even when the people around you are confused. Thomas said if you bring forth what is within you, it will save you; if you do not, it will destroy you.
The thing you are trying to bury to keep the peace is the very thing that holds your life. Split a piece of wood, and the light is there, waiting for you to stop performing.
You do not have to fix the silence you created. You only have to stand in the morning without the mask.
