No Performance Required By The Light
The door is closed. Your hand is on the knob, but you cannot turn it.
Because the moment you step out, the mask goes on. The performance begins.
The world expects you to be okay, to be strong, to be the person they need you to be. And you are so tired of pretending.
But listen. You do not have to carry the act into the morning.
The light does not need your performance. It needs your presence.
Just as you are. Trembling.
Afraid. Real.
There is a courage in simply opening the door and walking out without the armor. The light is already waiting on the other side.
It is not asking you to be impressive. It is asking you to be there.
The morning does not require a show. It only requires you.
