The Dawn Found You Anyway
The sun is up, but your mind is still stuck in the dark, replaying every awkward word you spoke yesterday. You are lying here, cringing at a conversation that ended hours ago, convinced you ruined something that cannot be fixed.
But look at the window. The light did not wait for you to get your story straight before it arrived.
It simply came. It is already touching your face, warm and silent, ignoring the script you are writing in your head.
The Father's light was inside you when you stumbled over your words, and it is inside you now while you punish yourself for them. It does not need you to be smooth.
It does not need you to be perfect. It just needs you to be here, breathing in this new morning.
The light that rose today is the same light that lived in Jesus, and it knows exactly how human you are. You are not defined by the stumble.
You are defined by the dawn that found you anyway.
