The Light Does Not Analyze Your Tone
The sun is up, but your mind is still stuck in that hallway, replaying the exact tone of your voice. You are convinced the words 'I'm fine' sounded like a weapon, sharp and defensive, when you meant them as a shield.
You walk into this new day carrying the weight of a conversation that ended hours ago, certain you pushed everyone away. But look at the light coming through the window — it does not ask permission to enter.
It simply arrives. The Father's love is like this rising sun; it shines on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, guiding feet back into the path of peace.
You cannot edit the past. You cannot go back and soften the edge of your voice.
Yet the light has already moved on. It is not analyzing your tone.
It is warming your face. The morning does not require you to be perfect; it only requires you to be present.
The light that woke up with you today is the same light that lived in Jesus, and it knows the difference between your fear and your heart. You are not defined by the way you sounded in the dark.
You are defined by the light that finds you now, in the first light of morning.
