the fear that your exhaustion makes you unlovable

The Light Rises on the Weary

The sun is up, but you are still carrying the weight of the night. You look in the mirror and see only the exhaustion, the dark circles, the frayed edges of your spirit.

And a quiet fear whispers that you are too tired to be loved, that you must fix yourself before you can be held. But listen — the light does not wait for you to be rested.

It rises on the weary just as it rises on the strong. There was a woman who bled for twelve years, spent everything she had, and grew worse under the care of many doctors.

She did not clean herself up before reaching out. She touched the edge of a cloak from the back of a crowd, trembling and hidden.

And the light stopped. It turned.

It called her 'Daughter' — not 'finally you're healed,' but 'daughter' right in the middle of the suffering. Your exhaustion does not make you unlovable.

It makes you human. And the light came specifically for the human, not the perfect.

The dawn is not a reward for sleeping well. It is a gift for the ones who made it through.

You are already held.
