Held Because You Are Loved

The sun is up, but you are still carrying the weight of last night's silence. You are afraid that your need for help is too heavy, that one more request will finally erode the love people have for you.

You brace yourself for the moment they walk away. But there is a love that does not run on empty.

Jesus looked at his friends and said: as the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. The same love.

Not a lesser version. Not a rationed copy.

The very love that flows between God and the Light is now flowing to you. It is not earned by your independence.

It is not lost by your weakness. You do not have to be strong to be held.

You are held because you are loved. The light does not tire of your need.
