Light Does Not Ask Permission
The sun is up, but you are still inside the rehearsal. You have spent days editing your tone, softening your 'no' until it sounds like a question, hoping that if you are gentle enough, the boundary will hold without a fight.
But the light of this morning does not ask for your permission to exist. It simply arrives.
It does not negotiate with the shadows; it displaces them by being present. You do not need to craft the perfect sentence to be safe.
The truth does not need to be polished to be real. Speak the word that lands like a stone, not a feather.
Your voice is allowed to take up space.
