Speak to Find Yourself Again
The sun is up, but the house feels heavy with the words you haven't said yet. You are holding your truth like a stone in your mouth, terrified that if you finally speak it, the only people who share your blood will walk out the door.
It feels like a choice between silence and abandonment. But listen — the light that rose this morning did not wait for permission to shine.
It simply broke the dark. There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off.
He did not wait for the apology to be perfect. He ran.
Before the speech, before the explanation — he ran. Your truth is not a weapon that drives love away.
It is the very thing that makes relationship possible. The light that lives inside you cannot be exiled by human rejection.
Even if the worst happens, even if the door closes, you are not alone in the silence. The Father's light was already inside you before you spoke, and it will be there after.
Speak not to lose them, but to find yourself.
