the terror that if you finally stop moving, the silence will reveal you were never actually strong, just afraid

The Light Does Not Require Your Courage

The sun is up, but the fear hasn't left. You are terrified that if you finally stop moving, the silence will reveal you were never actually strong, just afraid.

That your busyness was a mask for trembling. But the light does not require you to be brave before you rest.

There was a man paralyzed for thirty-eight years, lying beside a pool, convinced he needed to be first to the water to be healed. He had no one to help him in.

He was stuck in his own inability. And the light walked straight to him, ignored the crowd, and asked: 'Do you want to get well?' It did not scold his stillness.

It did not demand he prove his strength. It simply spoke to the part of him that was ready to stand.

Your fear is not a disqualification. The light sees the trembling and calls it honest.

You do not have to manufacture courage to be held. The strength you think you lost was never yours to begin with.

It was always the light carrying you, even when you thought you were running on empty. Stop.

The silence will not condemn you. It will reveal that you were held all along.
