the sudden panic that tomorrow will arrive exactly like today with no hope of change

The Dawn Says the Story Begins Again

The sun is up, and you made it through the night. That is the first truth.

But as the light returns, so does the heavy fear that this day will be exactly like the last — that nothing will change, that the cycle is unbroken. You are carrying yesterday's weight into a morning that has not yet happened.

But look at the birds; they do not store away in barns, yet they are fed. The light does not arrive in a flood; it rises in tender mercy, one breath at a time.

Tomorrow is not yours to carry right now. Today has enough trouble, yes — but today also has enough light.

The fear says the story is stuck. The dawn says the story is just beginning again.
