Your Child Needs Your Honest Trembling
The sun is up, and you are already performing the version of yourself that holds everything together. You smile at the breakfast table while your hands shake under the counter, terrified that your child is watching the act and learning to hide their own cracks.
But the light does not need your mask to reach them. Thomas said what you have been waiting for has already come, but you do not recognize it because you are too busy pretending to be strong.
The kingdom is not a place you earn by being perfect; it is inside you right now, in the exhaustion and the fear. Your child does not need to see you unbroken; they need to see you honest.
If you bring forth the truth within you—the trembling, the doubt, the realness—it will save you both. The light was there before the first fake smile, and it remains there now, waiting for you to stop hiding it.
