You Are Not a Used-Up Vessel
The sun is up, and you are already performing the person who figured it out. You smiled at the coffee shop.
You answered the emails. But underneath the mask, a cold terror is whispering that you have already used up your one chance to change.
That the transformation you felt was a single-use miracle, and now you are stuck with the leftover pieces of who you used to be. You feel like a vessel that has been poured out completely, with nothing left to give.
But listen — the light does not work in single doses. There is a spring of water welling up inside you that cannot run dry.
You are not a container with a limited supply. You are a branch connected to a vine that knows no winter.
The capacity to become new is not a resource you manage; it is a presence you inhabit. The mask says you are finished.
The light says you are just beginning again.
