You Do Not Have to Earn Asking
The sun is up, and you are already editing yourself. You swallow the request before it forms on your tongue.
You make yourself small so you won't be a burden. But look at the flowers outside — they do not apologize for blooming.
They do not ask permission to take up space. They simply receive the light that falls on them.
The Father knows what you need before you speak — not because he is watching to catch you wanting, but because your needs are already held in his hand. You do not have to earn the right to ask.
The light does not shy away from your hunger; it runs toward it. Your voice is not an intrusion.
It is the very thing the morning was made to hear.
