Stop Training Them to Love a Ghost
The sun is up, and the mask is back on before your feet even hit the floor. You have spent years carefully editing yourself, teaching the people you love to adore a stranger who lives inside your skin.
It is a exhausting performance, this constant hiding of the real you behind the version they expect. But the light does not love the mask; it loves the face beneath it, the one you are so afraid to show.
There is a truth inside you waiting to be brought forth, and if you keep it buried, that silence will slowly destroy you. The light is not asking you to be perfect; it is asking you to be real, even if the real thing trembles.
Stop training them to love a ghost; the living you is the only one worth knowing.
