The Secret Name Behind The Mask
The sun is up, and the mask is already in place. You smiled at the coffee machine.
You nodded in the meeting. You acted as if the thing you did yesterday didn't happen, as if the public stumble wasn't broadcast to everyone you know.
But inside, you are burning. You are convinced that every eye sees the crack, that every whisper is about your failure.
The shame feels like a brand on your forehead. Yet there is a voice that speaks louder than the crowd's memory.
It says: neither do I condemn you. The light does not look at your public fall and turn away.
It stands between you and the accusers. It waits for the stones to drop.
And when the room is finally quiet, it does not offer a lecture on how to be better next time. It offers a name known only to you.
A secret identity that the world cannot touch. Your failure is visible to everyone, but your true self is hidden with God.
The mask is heavy, but you do not have to wear it here.
