The Light Waiting Under Your Stone
The sun is up, and the mask is on. You are smiling at the right moments, nodding when expected, but your jaw aches from holding back the one sentence that needed to be said.
You feel it hardening inside you, turning into a stone you carry through the morning meetings and the hallway conversations. It is heavy.
It is exhausting to pretend the stone isn't there. But listen — the light does not need your performance.
It sees the tension in your face. It knows the words you swallowed.
There is a truth living in you that cannot be silenced forever. You do not have to force it out today.
You do not have to shatter the mask with a shout. Just know this: the light is already under the stone, waiting to lift it for you.
You are not alone in the silence.
