The Light Sees You and Stays
The sun is up, and the light in the room reveals things the darkness hid. Now you lie there, watching them sleep, convinced their love is a mistake built on a version of you that doesn't exist.
You are waiting for them to see the real you and walk away. But the light does not love illusions.
It sees everything—the cracks, the shadows, the parts you hide even from yourself—and it stays. There was a man born blind, and everyone assumed his condition was a punishment for sin, a verdict on his worth.
The light looked at him and said: neither this man nor his parents sinned. It refused to accept their story about him.
Your partner's affection is not based on their ignorance of your flaws. It is based on the light that sees your flaws and loves you anyway.
You are not a fraud waiting to be exposed. You are known.
