You Are Held While You Drown
The sun is up, and the house is moving, and you are already holding the roof together while your own knees shake. You have become the anchor for everyone else, the steady hand that pours the coffee and fixes the problem, while inside you are quietly sinking.
But look — the light has returned without asking you to hold it up. It rises on its own, a gift you did not earn and cannot lose.
The Father's tender mercy sends this rising sun specifically for those in the shadow of death, to guide your feet into peace. You do not have to be the source of warmth for the whole world today.
The light is already here, shining on you while you still feel like you are drowning. You are not the anchor; you are the one being held.
