You Do Not Have to Manufacture a Sunrise
The sun is up, and the house is quiet, but your mind is already rehearsing. You catch yourself scripting a thankful response before someone has even finished speaking, just to ensure you don't accidentally reveal the emptiness underneath.
It feels like holding your breath while the world expects you to exhale joy. But listen — the dawn does not ask you to perform gratitude before you have even seen the light.
It simply rises. It spills over the horizon without checking if you are ready to receive it.
The light that is breaking through your window right now is not waiting for your applause. It is already here, filling the room whether you have the right words or not.
You do not have to manufacture a sunrise to prove you are alive. The day has begun, and the light is already doing the work of revealing what was hidden in the dark.
