The Dawn Does Not Ask You to Fight
The sun is up, and the house is quiet, and you are holding your breath because you think if you finally sit down, everyone will see that you were never actually strong. But the light that just broke the horizon did not struggle to rise.
It simply appeared. It did not earn its place in the sky by moving faster than the dark.
It is strong because it is there. You are afraid that stopping will reveal a fraud.
But the Father who sees you in this gray morning does not love the performance. He loves the person beneath it.
The strength you think you lost was never yours to carry anyway. It was always His.
You can put the armor down. The light does not need you to be a soldier right now.
It just needs you to be here, watching the day begin. The dawn does not ask you to hold up the sky.
It only asks you to witness it.
