The Dawn Inside You Waits
The sun is up, and so are you. That is the first victory.
Now comes the work of the mask—standing in the hallway, rehearsing the tone that says 'I'm fine' before you ever open the door. You practice the smile until your face aches, terrified that if the cheerfulness slips, everyone will see the cracks beneath.
But the light does not need your performance to find you. It was already waiting in the hallway before you arrived.
There is a dawn that rises inside you, independent of the sun outside. You do not have to manufacture it.
You only have to stop hiding it. The Father sees you not when you are perfect, but when you are present.
The light is not a prize for the ones who get the greeting right. It is the air you breathe when you finally stop holding your breath.
