The sun is up, and already you are rehearsing the reasons you deserve to be here. You think if you stop explaining your worth, the mask will slip and they will see the impostor underneath.

But the light does not need your resume to recognize its own. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world.

You came from the light, the place where it generates itself, and you cannot be a fraud in your own origin. Split a piece of wood and you will find the light there, hiding in the ordinary grain of your morning.

It was there before you spoke a single word of defense. You do not have to prove you belong to the day.
