The Father Runs Before You Speak
The sun is setting, and with it comes the heavy demand to know exactly who you will be. At seventeen, the world asks for a blueprint when you are still just a seed.
But the light does not require you to see the whole staircase. It only asks for the next step.
There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off — he did not wait for a plan, he ran. Before the apology, before the speech — he ran.
You do not have to figure it all out tonight. The future is not yours to carry before it arrives.
The light is sufficient for this hour, and this hour alone. Rest in the knowing that you are held, even without a map.
