Speak to the Light Inside You
The sun is setting, and the armor you wore all day finally hits the floor. Now the silence rushes in, carrying the speech you have rehearsed a thousand times.
The words are perfect. The tone is exactly right.
But the person who needed to hear them has stopped visiting, and the room where the apology belongs is empty. You are speaking to a ghost, and it is breaking you.
But listen — the light does not require a recipient to be real. It does not need their ears to heal your heart.
There is a love inside you that is greater than the silence of the one who left. Speak the words anyway.
Not to them, but to the part of you that still believes you are unforgivable. Let the light hear what the world refused to accept.
The apology was never about changing their mind. It was about releasing yours.
