Your Healing Is Not Abandonment
The sun is setting, and the armor you wore to keep everyone else comfortable finally feels heavy enough to put down. You are terrified that if you stop performing strength, the people you love will mistake your healing for rejection.
They may call it abandonment. They may not understand why you are no longer available to carry their weight now that you are learning to stand.
But listen — the light does not ask you to burn yourself out to prove your love. Jesus once told a man he healed to go home to his family and tell them what the Lord had done for him.
Your recovery is not a departure. It is the first honest thing you have brought to the table in years.
The ones who truly love you will not need you to be broken to stay close. They will learn to meet you in the wholeness you are becoming.
You are not leaving them behind. You are inviting them to see who you really are.
